Thirty-eight

Lets go waaay back of today - or at least, as waaay back as 5:30pm.

My parents, my maid & I went off to Cjaya.
My weapons of the day were my iPod, Mac & a carton of strawberry milk.

Halfway through the journey, there was only a quarter of milk left.
& my mom just bought it yesterday.

My stomach full, we carried on our adventure to our future house, Seri Aman (yes, my parents gave it a name).
Up until that moment, before we ventured on to my room, I couldn't wait to move in.

The main reason is that it'd be clean (my strategy is to not unpack to keep it that way) & there'd be more room for my books.

My (future) room, I have to say, is awesome.
Sky blue walls, walk-in closet, my Korean lantern, a window seat, a library beneath the window seat & a balcony.

I mean, come on.
There were no flaws to this room - it was my Dream Room.

Until I saw the toilet.
No offense. I know that the architect & my parents probably put loads of effort to build the house & I am in no position to complain.

But when you look at the room, you'd probably think, 'Wow, this is awesome. Nothing can ruint his room. It's The Room.'
Until you walk into the toilet.

The toilet is probably as big as the closet you'd find under the staircase.
It's that small.

& sure, there's a bath tub (which, yes, as geeky as that sounds, I always wanted one).
But that just makes the toilet look smaller.

The shower wasn't in the bath tub. It was beside it.
& the sink was beside the... Toilet.
Which was beside the bath tub.

It was very disappointing.
As we left the house, I felt like I was experiencing a hangover.

You know, without the alcohol.

So I kept silent as we picked up my grandmom & Uncle M.
I kept silent as we reached the Putrajaya Club restaurant.
I kept silent as we ordered our meals (ah, my orders never change so everyone can predict what I eat).

& when I had to talk - with my mom, who could always sense me being too quiet - I just snap at people.

It's kind of stupid when I put it like that but it's true.
I was depressed that my toilet was disappointingly small.

Anywayz, as I was keeping silent the whole time, thoughts just flew in my head.
My Dream Room is ruined.
It's horrible.

All because of the stupid toilet.

& on & on.

To make matters worst, I was at some fancy-schmancy restaurant & I was wearing this oversized T-shirt with the word ALASKA printed over it (don't ask. Grandmom bought it).

So I went to the toilet to change into this orange collared T-shirt.
Note the collar.
See? I've got class too =P

Anywayz, as I was changing, I discovered two facts :
  1. I am a size 32 (I can't say of what, of course. But I'm sure you know).
But somehow, I was wearing a 38, courtesy to Grandmom.
  2. My shirt was unnaturally tight. I mean, only at the arms.
    Which only means one thing.

    I need to exercise.

You know on those chick flick movies wear some bimbotic girl would scream "Oh my God! I gained weight!" where you'd just think, "What a bimbo."
At that moment, I felt like that girl who screamed that to her friend.
I went through dinner, still quiet, with my new discoveries.
I managed to survive thanks to weapon number one (iPod).

Finally went to our main destination - Grandmom's house.
So here I am, typing this all down, with Wolf in front of me, resting.

We're waiting for the Italian fireworks.
Alot's been going on here at Cjaya, proud to say.

First was Akon's tour. & now the fireworks display.

I'm glad.
My mood's finally lightened thanks to Wolf.
Because there's this new kitten which is angelic cute but it's too hyper for my taste.
I prefer Wolf - cute, fat, lazy.

Hey! Like Garfield!
Only, you know, Wolf's... Well, grey.

Here's a few pictures of Wolf :

(Note : The pictures may be a bit obscene.)

See that log of fur there?
& the rather unflattering pic there?

That's Wolf!

Just Not My Day

It really isn't my day today.

Okay. Shall I list down the cruel irony thrown upon me?

Firstly...
I came super early for Cpaka Voices' rehearsals - I searched for them at the vocal room but they weren't there so I just went to assembly with Philip & Farah F.

But Farah D went up to get us & we went to the violin studio, there new hiding place.

So they were there all the time when I was going everywhere, walking my butt off!

Secondly...
So we practiced. It was cool.
Until Ms Ann broke the news that we weren't going to Cheras to perform - meaning, we didn't have a chance to escape our classes - which means, I was very, very screwed since I didn't bring any books except Geo & Maths.

Thirdly...
We went up for the special assembly for Datin's annual surprise party.
I was guessing that one-third of the occupants in the hall were feeling squeamish seeing cake on the stage.

So, dumdedum, we sat at the front row as we're, after all, the performers.
We were also sitting Pn Farah, who happened to turn around & asked me to do a chore of hers - get her a pair of scissors.

As I was stupid & always cannot be able to say the word No, I had to go through the crowded hall lane filled with primary kids & down to the office for that stupid pair of scissors.

With bruised feet after having 7 kids (yes, I counted) step on it.

But I just knew somehow the minute I entered the hall that I was late.

& lo behold! I saw familiar faces all on the hall, performing Eleanor Rigby.

It was brilliant - only that they weren't amplified so they couldn't quite be heard from the back of the hall.

I waited until they sang the Good Ol' Acappella song & crept up on stage.
Embarrassing moment of the week - no, scratch that. Month.

Fourthly...
All true Cempakans know that Datin's very generous when it comes to throwing her surprise bashes so in order to repay our wonderful-ness (if such a word), she gave us free lunch.

Which, you know, is handy & dandy.

Except for the fact that I was fasting.
The world could be so cruel.

Lastly...
The school bell went off & we were already racing our way to the linkbridge.
So as I headed to, erm, somewhere, Melanie told me that there was dirt on my skirt.

Yes.
Happy Birthday.

BWARGH!!!!!
So my efforts of fasting went out the window & I was stuck with a rumbling stomach which could've been filled for FREE!

I'm still stewing over the prospect.
It's so annoying =.="

I shall drown my sorrows in my stories.
Ciao =P

Freaking Me Out

Okay, this is clearly freaking me out.

It has been a long time - well, clearly a long time - since I have liked someone.
Like, a lot.

But this is just a typical crush I seem to have every year - which bloomed 3 years ago.
I'd like to put the blame onto the guy who did this to me, but obviously I can't since that is just pure juvenile.

Moving on...

I like a guy. You can see that oh-so-clearly stated.
I'm not gonna reveal his identity because no one - no, I'm serious. No one - knows who this guy is.

But it's okay. I'm sure I'll get over this when the whole fiasco's finished.

I feel like a potential stalker.
A very, very lame stalker but a stalker nevertheless.

I grovel pathetically if he came anywhere near me within a 10-pole radius.
Oh, & I happen to trip more if I see him coming by.

Need there be anything more pathetic than the sad truth?

But it's okay. I've found a cure! It's brilliant, positively brilliant!

First was a Korean movie-athon (200 Pounds Beauty, I swear, this movie is AWESOME. Watch it) & then I checked out his profile & photos - hint.

& I am so glad to find that his photos are everything that can turn me off.
I'm serious.

He takes pictures of himself - or sometimes with girls.
& he wears those chains - like, really huge, long chains.
Oh, & there's a picture of him when he was really young & he looks like...

Well, like Jun Vinh & Roy (Tang) put together.

Not only that, he cannot spell for the life of him.
Let alone use the correct grammar.

He adds girls who are either very gothic or a tad too perky.

...

But if he's such a turn-off, why do I still keep trying to pass him during lunch?

I'm feeling... Wicked

=P
Haha

Quoted that from the song As Long As You're Mine.

Nah, I felt like blogging.
Firstly, about the shocking news that lately, majority of my friends have found blogging blah.

I mean, yes, it is true - but for me, it's kinda an on, off thing.
On : Blogging mood (like now)
Off : Lazy - TV/Mac mood

Secondly, the encounters I had which includes boys.

Haha =P
Nothing much.

Erm, okay, except for last week, I think.
& today =.="

Lets see...
Last week, I was moonwalking in the corridor of the CPAC floor when suddenly one of my PL-crushes came out of one of the numerous music studios behind me.
So I turned around & decided to go the other way.

& again, another one of my PL-crushes appeared at the corner of the corridor.

So, I was kinda trapped.
Panicked.

Went back into the vocal studio before I did something stupid & waited till they talked to each other somewhere far, far away.

Today.
Well, does not include any of my PL-crushes, if you were thinking that.

Just that some F2 dude, I dunno, can't remember his name - & even if I did, I'm afraid to spell it wrongly, hence, offending the person - came up to me when I was reading this book I borrowed from [cough] the family library (It's In His Kiss by Julia Quinn).

Nearly jumped outta my skin bcoz I was reading the... Well, those scenes & that dude just came up to me, all sweaty & equally smelly.

Inquired his rather disgusting condition. Replied simply that he was running.

Then he leaned in me to see what I was reading.
Obviously I had to close my book & hide it bcoz :

One - It was from the family library
Two - My fingers were bookmark-ing the page where I left off, which is one of those scenes
Three - I don't want to get his icky sweatdrops all over the book

Then, he asked me to turn around.
I swear that I didn't hear him the first time.

So he took off his shirt & put on his deodorant while wiping the sweat offa him.
I nearly shrieked what the hell he was doing & he said snappishly that he already told me to turn around.

Obliged without any hesitations.

Yeap. That's all.

Oh, & to Meg Cabot readers out there, I have to remind you that...

TWO BOOKS OF MEG CABOT'S HAS HIT THE BOOKSTORES

Or um, at least one has.

Queen of Babble 2's already here!!!!

Haha. I'm in such a writing-y mood =P

Everyone's

MOODY!

Aley & Minni's sad =(
Jase's plain moody - I dunno why!
Seal 2's sad =(
Brandon's lonely (okay, I'm running out of ppl)
Midget's - uh, Zack's - still.. Well, he's still a Midget to me

Seriously. You people...
It's as if I'm the only carefree one around!

I can understand Aley, Minni, Seal 2...
But why's Jase so moody??

I mean, it's weird.
Today when he came over with Midget, he wasn't smiling alot.
Just, you know, smiling at times.

Watched a cartoon show - dum de dum, Garfield in celebration of his birthday! - & munched on snacks.
Oddly, I had to share with Midget bcoz Jase didn't look like he had the mood to share food.

See? He was in such a bad mood that he needed more food to comfort him.

Went to my room & talked, chit chat.
Discovred that Blondie's on vacation so Midget's off now.

That lousy guy nearly stole my PHOTOS!
I should keep it in a safe or something.

I swear, how can ppl recognize another person from the back when all they saw was the person's face the last time they glimpsed at said person?

& when Midget went into the toilet, I was lying on the bed next to Jase, feet on my study chair.
Usually we'd be singing a random silly song while Midget plays guitar but then Jase looked moody - mentioned - so we didn't.

It's so... Sad..

Oh well... That's all for now!

Bye!

Dancing through Life

Okay, to those who are in the wicked Wicked - har har, pardon the extremely lame pun - production, pls don't groan. I mean, c'mon, admit it.

This song is fantastic.

Speaking of fantastic, I just watched Fantastic 4 : The rise of the silver surfer today.
It was okay, nothing to yell about. A pretty entertaining movie.

I could've enjoyed it more if it wasn't for that gross old guy who kept burping in front of us - & no, I ain't talking about those loud, distracting kinds.

I'm talking about those silent kinds that you wouldn't hear but you know it'd exist thanks to the disgusting foul smell which gives the victims - a.k.a. my parents & I - a clue on what the said person had for lunch.

Yes. Ick.

Anywayz... It was okay lahh. Like I said, nothing to yell about.
Favourite part : When Johnny burned that bridal bouqet just when his girlfriend was about to catch it =P

Nice.

Hmm... Oh yea!
Dancing through life

That song is AWESOME.

& no, it's not because Fiyero-slash-Jes-dude is singing it - & um, no, not bcoz that really tall Boq fella is singing it either.

Noooo, I've got 2 sane reasons :

1. It's nice
2. (Original) Fiyero sounds nice =P

There are 3-4 scenes in this 7 minute long song but I'm attracted to 2 particular scenes & one particular line.

The said line is the one sung by Fiyero :

Life's more painless,
For the brainless

Hehheh.

Don't worry. I'm not gonna spoil much of the musical.

I just must tell you the scenes.

Scene one:

G(a)linda : See that tragically beautiful girl? The one in the chair? I know someone would be my hero if that someone were to invite her

So... Well, I'm not gonna go into detail but technically, this guy, Boq, asks this girl, Ms Popularity out (aka Galinda) but... Well, see the sentence above.

Zoom!

Boq : Uh... Nessa? Nessa? I've got something to confess a reason why I asked you out here tonight. Now I know it isn't fair
Nessa : Oh, Boq. I know why... It's because I'm in this chair & you felt sorry for me... Well, isn't that right?
Boq : No! No... It's because... Uh, because... It's because you look so beautiful!
Nessa : Oh, Boq. I think you're wonderful. & we deserve each other. Don't you see this is our chance. We deserve each other. Don't we, Boq?
Boq : You know what? Lets dance

Waaaahhhhh!!!! It's sooo goood =)

It's just so hard to imagine that tall fella singing to Veronica =P

But I like it! I mean, there's these 2 love triangles going on here. I'm focusing on one of it.

I keep, you know, feeling so frustrated with it. Like, why didn't Boq just fall in love with Nessa instead of stupid ol' Glinda?

Or why didn't he just find her a different guy if she was so beautiful?

& why was it such a big deal that she's in a wheelchair?? She's still normal, right?

Geesh!

But it was so nice of Boq...

[Sigh]

=P

Hehe. I love this song!!

What's happening

to me?? Seriously.

Lately, all I've been doing is acting stupid... In front of guys.

& sure, I know, I always kinda act stupid when neccessary but those said times? Not neccessary.

Since when did I care what people think???? Especially guys.

I mean, c'mon. I'm talking about me here. The Aishah N who thought that guys were really made out of dirt & worms (which, come to think of it, explains why I always cried whenever they come near or something).
The one who thought that guys are our enemies.

So why am I always blushing around here????? BWARGH!!!

When did I realise this madness? Simple. A few hours ago, I was hanging around at Alamanda, a mall at Putrajaya with my mom, grandmom, great-grandmom.

Two incidents happen.

Incident 1 : Foodcourt

Simple. I was just hanging around, wondering where my mom & grandmom were - I was taking care of my great-gran - & then I noticed this guy at a table near mine playing with his kid sister.

& then I was thinking, 'Hmm... Is he my age?'

SERIOUSLY. That was strike one.

So I set myself up & was set determined not to, you know, think about that guy. So, I just gazed at space & realised that I was staring at some other guy who was decent-looking & he smiled at me.

Well, okay, maybe not at me. Maybe it was because I was wearing a beanie, here in Malaysia.
But whatever. It's the thought that counts, right?

Anyway, he just smiled at me & I LOOKED AWAY.

It wasn't the fact that, you know, I did not smile back & that must've been totally rude but my friend - [cough] friend, the Flirt-o Guru (ahhh, you already know who this is by now) - told me that under any circumstances, I should never, EVER smile at a guy who's smiling at myself.

Was it my fault I did not smile back?

That was just the beginning...

Incident 2 : Supermarket

This time I was stuck with Grandmom. She was grocery shopping for her cafe - yes, cafe - & she stocked up on all this chicken into the trolley that I was pushing.

While I was waiting for her to finish this chore of stocking chicken into the trolley, I saw some other guy - who was way more decent-looking than the other - looking at me.

This time, I smiled - you know, I wasn't doing anything wrong. I was giving the I'm-suffering-with-grandmom-stocking-chicken-&-I'm-the-one-who's-going-to-be-pushing-this-stuff-so-HELP-ME smile.

See? Innocent.

& he smiled back.

Then I was thinking he was my age & he had really broad shoulders - broader than Brian's, I swear - & taller - than Brian, again. Hey waitasec... Why am I comparing everything with HIM???? =.=" - & waaaaaaay better looking than Brian (cough. Plainly)

& my grandmom dragged me away from him - erm, I meant from the spot - & I had to push that trolley, struggling & maybe panting.

Who knew chicken could be so heavy?

My grandmom was still at the grocery-shopping frenzy & I was lagging way behind, thanks to the unneccessary weight of the heavy chicken, cans of oil & Coke Light.
So I lost her.

I had to push that stupid trolley everywhere - & I do mean everywhere - to search for her. & again, I must remind you that that trolley was filled with CHICKEN - like 7 packets of it, no joke - cans of oil & once again, I must mention, Coke Light.

There were so many people there at Carefour that I couldn't spot my grandmom, which was ironic because it was hard to miss her - literally. She's either being the friendly granny with everyone & also because of her odd choice of clothing (blue veil with hot pink pants).

& in my rush of chasing ala kelam kabut style, guess who I crashed into? (I mean, literally crashed into. The trolleys went BAM!)

Broad, tall dude I saw at the chicken counter pushing the trolley behind his mom.

We smiled. You know, for a reasonably long time in the period of smiling-at-strangers thing.

Then his mom called & he shrugged (like saying What to do?) & went off.

BAHHHH!!! Why'd I care?? I'd never see the guy again anyway =.="""

PS: I wrote this in the evening

Same ol'

Well, it seems that things are going - nearly - back to normal.

My typing speed is better (hehe) & I'm now listening to Josh Groban & taking a break from this obsessive manga series, Hot Gimmick.

I'm chatting to Guy CBA or either his brother, *Ollie - I don't know =.="
First he just went "I love Ollie" & then he types gibberish.

Haiz, looks like someone hired his little brother to annoy some innocent anti-social girl.
Well, this doesn't work on me! No little kid can make me coo, "Ahhh, so cute!" because, believe me, I am not all that child-friendly (yes, yes. It is ironic), according to my mom.

I'm well considering to change the title. I can't believe that I'm now stuck to manga & now, Teen Vogue.
I mean, seriously.

That's all for now.
Annyǒnghi kyeseyo!

World's healthiest person

I admit it.

I am not the world's healthiest person.
Hell, who is?

A few minutes ago, I was busy finishing off this chocolate bar I found in the fridge.
& I ain't talking about that single, puny piece of a chocolate bar like Mars.

Nooo sireee, I'm talking about a grown-up bar. The one where there's those little cube-sized chocolates so that you could break it off & eat one piece a week or whatever.

Except that I ate the whole thing.
In five minutes.

& it was Swiss chocolate - yes, the notorious creamy, thick Swiss kind.

& sure, it's one thing to eat it while walking or doing push-ups or dancing with S-Club 7 or whatever.
It's another to be watching re-runs of Curious Play (Fushigi Yuugi) which were like drawn in the 90's or whatever, if you analyse the colouring on the futon couch, lying on your stomach.

Seriously. It's as if I want to be obese.

Funny thing. I went to the doctor's the other day - no biggie, I was just teman-ing my dad - & there was this cool weight-height thing to measure the status of your fat.

Guess what? For my height, I'm on the brink of Normal & - you'd never believe this but it's the truth, I cross my heart - Underweight.

HAH.

I told this to Aley & she just looked all serious & said, "I told you so. This just means you're tall."
Terminated.

So now I'm just waiting for this video to load so that I can grab it & put it in my iPod & watch it when my parents think I'm asleep.

Muahaha. They do not know that I am now clever enough to download stuff. =P

It's been a while

He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel, the other on my heart

Mmmm... I'm in a content mood.

Well, you could tell with the significant open-lyrics of - my new-found idol - Taylor Swift (Our Song) on the first sentence of this post.
That & also because I've just watched my first ever Duff movie in what? Months?

But this one was kinda different bcoz Hilary & her sister was starring in it. It was cool but then the guys kept being so chivalrous...

he says baby is something wrong?,
i say nothin' i was just thinkin' how we don't have a song

How is one supposed to be on celibacy - on guys, mind - when there's movie like that making guys being so... So SWEET?!

I think I'm almost relieved to find that there is no such guy who exists at our age. I mean, seriously.
Or else I'd have to fight off a heck of women =P

Haha.

Anywayz... It's been a while since I've done something this fun! I mean, when you've got no one to entertain you at 1 in the morn, what else does one do but listen to country songs belting out in your headset - not earphones - & typing in blogger.com?

Yesterday & part of the day today, I was cooped up in a car with my parents.
Seriously. That is not how a kid'd like to enjoy his/her term break.

Anywayz, dinner yesterday was DELICIOUS. My dad was so busy stuffing down the - well, stuff that he finished everything.
& I mean everything.

& I don't know whether it was just a coincidence but, after that, the stall we were eating at was FULL. Seriously.
So my dad being my dad thought he was - I quote - a living advertisement & just dug in some more.

(Evidence on the right)

Then we went back to kampung in Muar.

[forward to today]

Well, I had to fit into this green kebaya & lemme tell you, it is no joke for us Malaysians to fit into something we kept at the back of our closets for 8 months or something till Hari Raya.

Yes, we were going to a wedding. My mom bought this ridiculous set of - how to put this delicately... - modern corset.

I swear, I had this sense of flashback to the Elizabehean times when women tried to pull the strings for that itty bitty bodice they had to squeeze into.

You get the picture.

Everyone kept cooing on & on about how I look like such an anak dara (virgin) in my Kebaya & how tall I was, even though clearly I was wearing flats - I always do.

So on the way back home, I was so bored in the 4-hour drive that I began taking pictures of myself with the phone camera.

Yes, yes. unbelievable.
But we all have our times.

I'm feeling dead guilty now that I'm dissing Aley on her rock climbing - even though I'm kinda happy that I don't need to climb that stupid wall but still.

I mean, first Silver now this?

AAAAA!

It's mind-racking (such a phrase?).

Oh & just wanted to tell you that yesterday (or should I say Saturday) I recalled on how pathetic I was being.
One of the main reasons I'm back to my strict celibacy - ON GUYS - rules.

Everyone had to wear their posh clothes because we were going for some sort of 'recording' so I put on this baju kurung top with jeans to, you know, play it casual.

& if you knew how many times I was hoping that Allar- uh... McFlutey &/or his brother saw me.
Seriously.

McCellist was coming out - his class was the same time as mine which was kinda the reason I try my best to hang around until it's 15 mins past 1pm, the end of my class - & I just chickened out & ran straight for the lift.

UGH! This is so frustrating.
I have to find some sort of companion of the opposite gender.

Well, my back's aching from all this hunching & it's 15 mins till 2 so I think I better hit the hay (I'm sleeping on the floor tonight. I consider this camping enough)

I grabbed a pen and an old napkin,
and I ....wrote down our song

Sunday, 29 April 2007

Oy (say the "O" a little longer)

Dum, dum, dum, dum, dum, dum, dum. The real day of Sports was today.
All the Tigers BD were sweltering in those stupid bottle-cap sweaters under the excruciatingly HOT sun - the indignation of it all.

When our FINAL March of the Tigers, year 07 ended, we just tried to hide under all those parents' umbrella shades =P
Unfortunately, the parents kept moving to their kids.

My dear diplomat left me, leaving me to the clutches of the Tiger Guys. We were all fidgeting around, an attempt to cool ourselves down (in VAIN).
We didn't know whether we were allowed to get outta our costumes or not. After 5 mins or so, I just announced that I'll take off that darn sweater anyway.

As I took it off, I was still fanning myself & the heat still wouldn't go away. & guess what? The Oy (check the title) suggested that I could take off my shirt too =.=

A message to the Buckety Butterfly : How in the WORLD could you handle that kind of remark??? Geesh! All guys' hormones are messed up, I swear.

Everyone followed & their reactions were the same as mine - still panting like dogs.
Then, Philip asked someone to hold his sweater. Wanna know WHY?

He wanted to take off his shirt.

Seriously. His brother is the CAPTAIN =.= What influence does that guy have around his siblings, I ask??

& then, I just gaped at him bcoz... That didnt't sound like PHILIP. That sounded more of...

Well, Brian.

& you know what that guy did next? He caught me gaping & he just said, "Ehi! Why're you looking?"

Since when've he become so the perasan??
Oh wait. Nvm.

Another incident which was highlighted:

I was standing next to this empty table, looking occupied with my blank staring-into-space when this old Chinese woman next to my table called me ("Eh, girl! Girl!")

She looked innocent - typical old lady look. Fading-coloured blouse, short white hair & wrinkles tugging at her face.

"Eh, girl! Girl! Go clean dis table ah!" she said to me & it took me a while to get the scenario sinking into my brain.

She thought I was a waitress. GEESH. I'd understand if I was wearing all black & white but I was wearing SPORTS attire. That's no waiter apparallel!

My dad couldn't stop laughing, my mom couldn't stop getting offended on my behalf - me, a waitress. Hmmph!

But STILL. I am NO waitress!

I never did like that woman anyway =.=

Zero in reality

Just came back from watching the latest Malay movie called Mukhsin.
You must've heard of it, or else you'd have been living under a rock since every of my Mom's friends kept telling her that it's the best movie & the most approvable for us teens.

Frankly, I think that the movie rocks bcoz finally - FINALLY - there is a local movie where we could actually relate. & here, they treat us just as adult, like their equals.

The story cut short?
Tells us about two children falling in love for the first time - who can ever forget their one true love?

I could've enjoyed it better if there weren't so many adult authority figures (a.k.a. Mom, Dad, Grandmom). Seriously. It was embarrassing.

But I enjoyed it nevertheless.

Throughout the movie, I couldn't stop myself from thinking, "Why, oh, WHY is the dad so casual around the guy? Why can't my dad be like that? No, why can't my parents be like that?"

Why, oh, why.

& you know, the leading actor was (really) decent-looking & the character's age was supposed to be TWELVE.
Twelve.

So, that's what my title's referring to - zero in reality.
There are no guys out there who could be my age & be nice & sweet.
& oh yea, likes me back.

Then, I hopped on the couch to watch AF5 (I think. Lost track) & guess what?
A contestant named Dafi was belting out the tune of the hit song, Pencinta Wanita & I just stared bcoz:
  1. One of my most beloved songs (haha)
  2. The dude was even MORE decent-looking!
I'm so pathetic I feel like slapping myself sometimes.
These are one of those times.

So there I was, lounging around at the living room, staring at Dafi singing an Irwanysah song & this thought came inside my head - Why aren't there any guys like that?
I mean, either unbelievably talented in singing or uniquely sweet & thoughtful guys.

The answer to that?
Check the title of this post, please.

This morning, when I woke up, I quickly grabbed one of my short romance story books & headed right to the sweet ending. I loved it!
It was so invigorating to getaway from the most depressing truth of the real world.

Here I am, wondering what my future's gonna be. So instead, I resolve to fill out my diary/blog as much as possible, just in case I miss the important bits of life.

Negative

Woah. Why is there a Jingle Bell Rock song stuck in my head? I've been humming this tune eversince I woke up from my 5-minute nap just now.
Okay, I shall open my iTunes &- ah... Mui better.
Fall Out Boy's Where's your boy tonight?/Grand Autumn Theft (dunno which is correct. Rina told me the first, Bonnie told me the latter) is the best cure for random festive songs stuck in your head.

Anywayz, about my title. What's with the "Negative"?
Yea, it's been running through my mind alot - like me attempting to go on a treadmill. Hah - & I've decided, 'What better way to discard this matter than to blog it out?'
Enjoy the pessimistism.

Let's see. I know this is really shallow - I mean, not like I am shallow or whatever but still. Why do guys like me????
Like all those stupid rumours such as Guy P - not true - liking me & etc.
Why??? I'm not anywhere close to attractive, I'm tall but not lanky tall, I've a smile of a broken moon & half the time, I stumble along my words.

& you know what people keep telling me whenever I express this question. Majority just went:
"Oh, well, DUH, Aishah. You're nice, pretty (pfft), smart!" in that pep-talk kinda way, seeing as I am truly a nut case.

Few weeks ago, I kinda got a headache & my dad said it's bcoz I think too much.
I don't find that fair - just bcoz I've got a strong migraine, so strong that it felt as if someone was drilling in the insides of my brain, does not mean bcoz I talk to myself inside my head.

Much.

I feel so much better for blogging. Really, it's some sort of medicine for ppl like me.
Now I'm just feeling a little contented with everything - I don't give a damn on my looks.
Who cares? No one likes me.

& also, my grades are up, up, UP (comparing to 1st Monthly Test) so my parents presented me an iPod for yours truly's bday.
Oh, the other presents were awesome too =)

PLUS : I've realised that I've so many friends who actually CARE for me - & not stupid kinds who like to backstab & say that I take drugs or stuff like that (not like I've been a victim to gossip that atrocious. But just an example).

So why do we need to be all 'Ohmygod, I haaaaate my life!' when it's just simple & nice.
Just the way I like it.

& today was so fun - um, except for the whole Mac-jammed-thanks-to-Roy thing. Lousy critter.

'zat's all for now.
