Zero in reality

Just came back from watching the latest Malay movie called Mukhsin.
You must've heard of it, or else you'd have been living under a rock since every of my Mom's friends kept telling her that it's the best movie & the most approvable for us teens.

Frankly, I think that the movie rocks bcoz finally - FINALLY - there is a local movie where we could actually relate. & here, they treat us just as adult, like their equals.

The story cut short?
Tells us about two children falling in love for the first time - who can ever forget their one true love?

I could've enjoyed it better if there weren't so many adult authority figures (a.k.a. Mom, Dad, Grandmom). Seriously. It was embarrassing.

But I enjoyed it nevertheless.

Throughout the movie, I couldn't stop myself from thinking, "Why, oh, WHY is the dad so casual around the guy? Why can't my dad be like that? No, why can't my parents be like that?"

Why, oh, why.

& you know, the leading actor was (really) decent-looking & the character's age was supposed to be TWELVE.
Twelve.

So, that's what my title's referring to - zero in reality.
There are no guys out there who could be my age & be nice & sweet.
& oh yea, likes me back.

Then, I hopped on the couch to watch AF5 (I think. Lost track) & guess what?
A contestant named Dafi was belting out the tune of the hit song, Pencinta Wanita & I just stared bcoz:

1. One of my most beloved songs (haha)
2. The dude was even MORE decent-looking!

I'm so pathetic I feel like slapping myself sometimes.
These are one of those times.

So there I was, lounging around at the living room, staring at Dafi singing an Irwanysah song & this thought came inside my head - Why aren't there any guys like that?
I mean, either unbelievably talented in singing or uniquely sweet & thoughtful guys.

This morning, when I woke up, I quickly grabbed one of my short romance story books & headed right to the sweet ending. I loved it!
It was so invigorating to getaway from the most depressing truth of the real world.

Here I am, wondering what my future's gonna be. So instead, I resolve to fill out my diary/blog as much as possible, just in case I miss the important bits of life.
